About BOLD

BOLD - Battling Odds of Liver Diseases.

As a person diagnosed and battling with decompensated chronic end liver disease and a proposed liver transplant candidate, who has been unlucky in finding a compatible liver donor, I’ve learned the basics of liver diseases and how to be a better advocate to support change. But most importantly I learned that I have a voice and that I can use it, that I can be that change.

Many people believe that this could never happen to them, like I did. I want to be an advocate to ensure people to know how to avoid liver diseases and how to survive it. I’m not only surviving, I am thriving, and I want that for others too. Connecting to others with liver disease is so crucial. It is easy to get caught in a cycle of malnutrition, fatigue, isolation, depression, pain, and on it goes. By reaching out to others, and their caregivers, I aspire to inspire connections from around the globe

There is nothing more powerful than sharing your story with others, whether with your own family or with the whole country. You’d be surprised how much impact simple actions can have.

On April 19th, World Liver Day, we plan to launch a non governmental organisation named as BOLD - Battling Odds of Liver Diseases. BOLD, believes in saving lives by empowering patient advocates to collaborate with policymakers, clinicians, and industry to drive the liver health field forward.

BOLD is a small group founded in the belief that liver health must take its place on the global public health agenda commensurate with the prevalence and impact of liver illness.

BOLD promotes innovation, encourages collaboration, and supports the scaling of optimal approaches to help eradicate liver diseases. BOLD is committed to solving the problems that matter to liver patients and equipping advocates to improve the lives of individuals and families impacted by liver disease.

I’m BOLD!
I’m a BOLDer!
I’m a Battler!
Yes ! I’m proud to say I’m Battling Odds of Liver Diseases, and refuse to admit defeat in the face of difficulty. I shall “Battle”.

I will be updating all the details in here. Those people and oraganisation who are interested to collaborate with us are requested to contact us.
Please do keep on praying, and supporting me.
